The artist Dmitriy Alekseyev was born in 1963. Graduated from the faculty of applied arts in Moscow Textile Institute.
Dima worked as art director in cinematography and theater with such famous film directors and actors as Mikhail Kazakov, Alexander Proshkin, Konstantin Khudyakov, Valery Akhadov, Svetlana Proskurina, Vladimir Mirzoev, Rustam Khamdamov, Annie Girardot, Diana Vishneva.
Dima is the head and artistic director of his own architectural bureau ironically named “CCCP” arranged in 1998.
Dima has been exhibiting since 1990 in museums and galleries of Russia (Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Russian Culture Fund, Moscow House of Artists, Manege…), Germany, Switzerland, USA and other countries.
His works are in numerous private collections in Russia and abroad.
2004-2005 — the lead author of the TV program dedicated to interior design called "Stylish Meters"
1990-2008 — participant of corporate artistic and design projects: Archstoyanie, “Beach” (Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental art), “Feedback” (company Mirax Group), “Eyes Salome” (Central House of Artist), “Gardens of Delight” (Russian Cultural Foundation), “Walking in Scotland” (the State Tretyakov Gallery with the support of the British Council, the gallery “Cinema” and “Mezhkombank”), “The girls of LFZ”. In total, more than 30 Russian and foreign projects, including 18 personal exhibitions.
2015-2016 — participation in the exhibition "Open community", the Garage Museum and the NCCA in Ekaterinburg.
2016 — exhibition "REFUGEES" in the State Center for Contemporary Art in Nizhny Novgorod -
2016 — artwork displayed at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta, USA, GA, for the exhibition “The Games: Ancient Olympia to Atlanta to Rio” followed by a second art piece named "Time."
2017 — approved and coordinated project in the city of Roswell, GA with the support of the City of Roswell and the Roswell Arts Fund
2017 — ZAMRI (Be Still) Street art project in Moscow center.
2017 — artwork displayed at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) "Ours in the Cosmos."
2011, 2012, 2013 – Curator and participant of the festival “ART-OVRAG” – street art, public art and architecture, city Vyksa
